It's a question that elicits a wide range of responses, from an eye-rolling giggle to a head-dropping groan. The Air Force’s mission is to “Fly, Fight and Win.” However, less than 4 percent of Airmen are pilots. The majority of airmen work in support roles, one of the most important of which being aircraft maintenance.
